Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Internal Medicine and Primary Care. The ideal candidate will join our team to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and collaborating with our healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, following evidence-based guidelines.
• Provide preventative care and health education to patients, promoting wellness and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
• Prescribe medications and manage patient treatments according to established protocols and state regulations.
Qualifications:
• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Primary Care.
• Certification from an accredited NP/PA program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
