ATC west Healthcare Services is seeking a local, experienced CRNA to provide sporadic PTO coverage. This is a no-call, daytime-only position with guaranteed 8-hour shifts. The role involves primarily cataract procedures along with a range of general surgeries and scopes, requiring independent work with on-site surgical support.

• Start Date: As needed (sporadic, ongoing PTO coverage)

• Shift: Guaranteed 8-hour days

• Schedule Variability: Day schedules may vary slightly

• Call:No call required

• Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month or less

• Local Candidates Only: Must live within driving distance (no exceptions)

• Setting: Level 4 trauma center with 2 operating rooms

• Average Daily Cases:

  • Cataracts: per day

  • Other procedures: 3 4 per day

• Common Procedures Include:

  • Cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, total knees (spinal only), minor general surgeries

• Required Anesthesia Skills:

  • General surgery (adult & pediatric)

  • Minor nerve blocks

  • IV regional & spinal anesthesia

  • Regional anesthesia

  • Ventilation management

  • Local infiltration

• Support Staff: Surgical techs, RNs, other CRNAs, and present surgeons

• EMR: EPIC (requires 4 5 hour compensated training)

• NBCRNA CertificationRequired

• Active Iowa (IA) LicenseRequired

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS All Required

• COVID VaccinationRequired

• Experience: No new grads must be experienced and able to work independently
