Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrine care at a single clinic location, with no inpatient or hospital responsibilities.
- Manage a diverse patient population presenting with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances.
- Collaborate closely with a team of primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and ancillary staff.
- Utilize onsite laboratory and radiology services to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment.
- Participate in precepting medical students and residents, contributing to the training of future healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications:- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligible in Endocrinology.
- Valid state medical license or ability to obtain licensure in Alabama.
- Proven experience in outpatient endocrinology preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
