- Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized operating environment.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies specific to open-heart and vascular surgeries.
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as heart-lung machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and other monitoring devices.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures by providing appropriate instruments and materials promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols throughout all surgical cases.
- Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure patient safety.
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and surgical site preparation.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document surgical procedures, equipment usage, and any incidents in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Must have 5+ years of experience in CVOR Must have NBSTSA Must have BLS
