Locum Tenens Physician (Ob/Gyn credential acceptable) covering Emergency Department in Winnebago, NE. Schedule: 10×12‑hour shifts/month, day or night. Facility: 13 inpatient beds, low volume <10,000 visits/year. EMR: Meditech. Contract: locum (short-term; NE license required; typical license processing 12–16 weeks). - MD or DO graduate (US or ECFMG certified) - Completed ABMS‑recognized residency (EM, IM, or FM) - Board certified/maintaining certification - Active unrestricted US medical license (NE license required upon start/preferred in hand) - BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS certifications

They must get the NE license. In hand is preferable but willing to get is fine too. Takes 12-16 weeks to get

EMR is Meditech
Day and night shift options available
10- twelve hour shifts a month
Experienced or trained in ED

Job Purpose & Position Overview
The Hospital is a 13-bed inpatient facility with an active emergency department. It does not have an active obstetrics in patient service and does not provide operative services.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
? Must have completed a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from an accredited school in the United States approved by a recognizing body in the year of the applicant?s graduation, or a Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from a foreign medical school which provided education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the Unites States. All foreign medical school graduates must have a permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medial Graduates (ECFMG) or a Fifth Pathway Certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduated education in a foreign country.
? Completion of an ABMS recognized residency in emergency medicine, internal medicine or family practice.
? Board certification and maintenance of certification as required by the appropriate ABMS specialty board.
? Active and unrestricted state license in any US jurisdiction recognized by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB).
? Must have certification of BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS
