Job Details:
• Serve as the sole provider in the center, treating approximately 20 patients per shift (up to 40 depending on location)
• Treat both adult and pediatric patients, ages 6 months and up
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required for all patient documentation
• Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care procedures
• Work with support staff including Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and Patient Service Associate
• Must have good interpersonal skills as you will work one-on-one with support staff and patients
• Minimum 12 months of urgent care or related experience required
• Board certification required (MD/DO, NCCPA, or NP Boards)
• BLS certification required
• Must be licensed in North Carolina
• No call requirements
• Supervising physician provided for APPs (offsite)
• Must complete clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding before first solo shift
• Providers may be asked to support locations within a 65-mile radius of their residence
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 20 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
