RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on Medical Unit 610 - 5th floor of main building
• 43-bed medical surgical unit with approximately 70 total staff members
• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 during day shifts, 1:6 during night shifts
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 1 unit secretary, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs, and 4 CNAs
• Previous medical/surgical nursing experience in acute care setting required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Handle patients recovering from any type of surgery excluding cardiac and open neurosurgery
• Float to medical units and ER to provide med/surg hold nurse capabilities
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Self-scheduling allowed with balanced schedule requirements
• Rotating weekends required
• Must be willing to be a team player and ask questions when unsure of processes
