- Fast credentialing in 30 days or less.
- Independent practice model-no supervision needed.
- Routine procedures in a community hospital setting , with cardiac cases supported by CV MD specialists.
Practice Setting- Inpatient care at a regional acute care hospital within the St. Joseph Health System.
- General community hospital case mix with cardiac services.
- Approximately 500 cases annually per FTE.
Schedule- Primarily 8-, 10-, and 24-hour shifts.
- Includes weekday call rotation and limited weekend call; second call via beeper.
- Post-call day off provided.
Cases and Procedures- General surgical anesthesia for community hospital cases.
- Cardiac anesthesia cases supported by cardiovascular MD specialists (TEE required).
- Endoscopy and routine inpatient procedures.
- No trauma center coverage; OB call structure in place, though not routinely required at this time.
Requirements- Board Certified CRNA.
- Indiana licensure required; IMLC accepted.
- TEE certification is required due to cardiac case volume.
- Independent practice experience preferred.
