RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour mid-shifts from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• 48-hour weekly guarantees may be approved
• Floating required but rarely needed
• Patient ratio: 1:4-6 patients
• Work in 23-bed emergency department
• 2+ years of experience required
• Required certifications: NIHSS, SAMA or CPI, ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Use Cerner EMR system and Mindray Telemetry Monitoring
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated as long as the same days are not required each week
• Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in emergency care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
