Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting
Location: Grossmont, CA
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview:The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations, providing therapy services, and documenting progress in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct student evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Document therapy sessions and progress per district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Minimum Requirements:- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Compliance with all professional standards of practice
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- School experience preferred
Position Details:- Shift: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Caseload: Approximately 36 students
- Grade Level: High School
- Setting: One site only
- In-Person Only
Compensation:- Local Pay Rate: $70/hour
- Travel Pay: Available upon request
