Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing practice principles, theories, current methods, and techniques. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other healthcare team members to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care in accordance with established standards and departmental policies.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient care needs.
- Implement and monitor nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members regarding care plans.
- Direct nursing support staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a clinical specialty preferred.
- PA Registered Nurse License required.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Multi State Compact RN License required.
This position will operate on a night shift basis, working 12-hour shifts.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
