American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a multi-modality CT/XR position requiring ARRT certification, BLS, and an active IN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a short-term acute care environment serving adult and pediatric patients in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
- Unit features 2 Phillips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens DR XR rooms, and Carestream portable equipment
- Shifts include Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Call required up to 4-5 shifts per month, including one weekend and 1-2 weekdays per month
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled
- No floating to other units or sister facilities
- Uses Cerner EMR, experience required
- Comfortable working alone at times
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Multi-modality role covering both CT and general X-ray procedures
- Work in a Stroke Level 1 accredited hospital
- Local candidates are accepted
- Free parking available on site
- RTO policy allows up to 5 days off with auto-approval
- Holiday coverage required with expectation to work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Perm or PRN employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Active Indiana state license required in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- Degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- A minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent CT/XR technologist experience is required
- Must be able to perform general X-ray procedures in addition to CT
- Experience with Siemens, Carestream portable, and Phillips equipment preferred
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Cerner EMR experience required
