Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a multi-modality CT/XR position requiring ARRT certification, BLS, and an active IN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a short-term acute care environment serving adult and pediatric patients in ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Unit features 2 Phillips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens DR XR rooms, and Carestream portable equipment
• Shifts include Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
• Call required up to 4-5 shifts per month, including one weekend and 1-2 weekdays per month
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays as scheduled
• No floating to other units or sister facilities
• Uses Cerner EMR, experience required
• Comfortable working alone at times
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Multi-modality role covering both CT and general X-ray procedures
• Work in a Stroke Level 1 accredited hospital
• Local candidates are accepted
• Free parking available on site
• RTO policy allows up to 5 days off with auto-approval
• Holiday coverage required with expectation to work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Perm or PRN employees must wait 12 months before returning as travelers
• Must be comfortable working independently

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification and BLS required
• Active Indiana state license required in hand at time of consideration; license required if applicable
• Degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• A minimum of 18 months to 2 years of recent CT/XR technologist experience is required
• Must be able to perform general X-ray procedures in addition to CT
• Experience with Siemens, Carestream portable, and Phillips equipment preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Cerner EMR experience required
