The Primary Care Assistant-MA works under primary care providers to deliver timely, efficient, and patient-centered care while collaborating with clinical teams to improve patient outcomes. The role requires at least one year of patient care or medical office experience and preferred graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program. - Experience: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Education: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Other: Works well as a member of a team; willing to collaborate with all members of the care team. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Customer service orientation. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Flexible and positive attitude. Attention to detail and accuracy. Self-directed and able to perform tasks that are in scope of practice independently with minimal oversight.
