Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT(M) and (R) credentials and at least 2 years of recent experience for a day shift contract.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based mammography department
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 to 18:00
- Weekend rotation requires two shifts per month
- No call or holiday coverage required
- Uses Epic EMR, Epic experience required
- 13-week contract assignment
- Travel pairs accepted
- Candidates must provide two supervisor references upon offer
- Modules completed during the first 8 hours of orientation are non-billable and take 3-4 hours on average
- Locals are accepted at a lower bill rate and must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Professional dress code required; scrubs not specified
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience required
- ARRT(M) and (R) certifications required
- Active state license required in hand; Wisconsin/compact license required if applicable
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- First-time travelers are not accepted
- Return staff must have been away for at least one year
- Candidates with latex allergies cannot be accommodated
