Plant Engineer Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance or plant services.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proven track record of reducing costs through process efficiencies.
Plant Engineer Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience in the wood products industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with steam utility systems and woodworking machinery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
