RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on D100 Med-Surg/Telemetry unit with 47 beds
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 on day shifts, 1:5 on night shifts
• Care for med-surg telemetry patients with moderate acuity, including vascular and bariatric patients
• Work every other weekend
• Float to other med-surg telemetry units as needed
• Use Alaris pumps, bladder scanners, Atrium chest tube drainage systems, Dinamaps, vein finder, and other equipment
• Document in Sunrise EMR system
• Work with interdisciplinary team including charge RN/CNC, LNAs, monitor techs, and secretary
• Not a procedural unit
• Required certifications: RN license, Telemetry certification, ACLS
• Bariatric experience preferred
• Dress code: scrubs (no assigned color)
• Must be a hardworker with strong work ethic
