The Propane Truck Driver is responsible for delivering propane safely and on time to local customers while complying with all relevant regulations. The role requires operating trucks with Class A or B CDL licenses, with preferred endorsements including Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake. The position includes opportunities for overtime during peak seasons and may involve assisting warehouse staff as needed.

Summary
CHS is looking for a Propane Truck Driver to join our team in Highmore! This individual will be delivering propane to local customers in the area. The schedule for this role is M-F, daytime hours, with overtime opportunities available during our busy season in the fall/winter. Join our amazing team today!
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
- Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
- Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
- Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Class A or B CDL
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
Additional Qualifications
- Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Must meet DOT and Company requirements
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
- Bulk liquid experience preferred
- Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
