This position starts on Jan 5, 2026, and features a 4x24 schedule each month with both 12-hour and 24-hour shifts. Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, extubation, and ventilation management
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Respond to and manage emergency codes
- Provide care for trauma (5%), pediatric (15%), and geriatric (60%) patients
- Collaborate with a staff mix that includes Family Medicine, General Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery physicians
- Utilize laboratory and radiology (X-ray) support as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation within Athenahealth EMR
