A healthcare organization in New York City is looking to add a new, licensed Pediatrician to join their growing team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting:Outpatient
- Specialty: Pediatrics
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (close every Friday at 1pm)
- Patient Population:Medicaid Orthodox
- Call Schedule:None
Responsibilities:The Pediatrician will:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to their young patients, including diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses and medical conditions
- Conduct routine wellness exams and check-ups to monitor a child's growth, development, and overall health
- Administer vaccinations according to recommended schedules to protect children from preventable diseases
- Monitor and assess a child's physical, cognitive, and social development
- Address behavioral and emotional health concerns in children and adolescents
- Educate parents and caregivers about child safety, injury prevention, and accident avoidance
- Manage and provide ongoing care for chronic medical conditions that affect children, such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, documenting their medical history, examinations, treatments, and recommendations
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- 1+ year of Pediatric experience
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Pediatrics
