Competitive Compensation: Benefit from a competitive compensation package with call pay. What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and assessments in the inpatient setting. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of neurological conditions. Interpret diagnostic tests such as radiologic exams, EEGs, and evoked potentials to inform treatment decisions. Perform essential neurological procedures including thrombolytic therapy, brain death exams, and other relevant procedures as needed. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including nurses and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care. Document patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Cerner electronic medical records system. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Neurology (required). Current and active license to practice medicine in Michigan (required). ACLS and PALS certifications (required). Experience with the interpretation of a variety of neurological diagnostic tests (radiology, EEG, evoked potentials) (preferred). Strong clinical decision-making skills and a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. The ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
