We are seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity begins Feb 1, 2026, with a 77-day contract and requires 24-hour call coverage and 8 hours of clinic per week, with a minimum of 7 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trauma plastic surgery, including hand procedures. Job Details Location: Indiana Start Date: Feb 1, 2026 LOA: 77 days Provider Type Needed: Plastic Surgeon Schedule: 24-hour call (7a-7a), minimum 7 shifts per month; 8 hours of clinic work per week Responsibilities and Duties Provide trauma plastic surgery care, including hand surgery Cover 24-hour call as scheduled Conduct a minimum of 8 hours of clinic per week Manage acute and complex cases requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters Additional Information Indiana medical license required Board certification in Plastic Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery required Must hold Advanced Life Support (ALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) certifications Assignment may start as early as late Jan if credentialing permits Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
