Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This armed and driving role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Document observations and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required by circumstances at the location.
- Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols and procedures to respond appropriately to various situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
