Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary:Up to $140,000; merit-based bonus possible; annual merit-based raise

Job Details:

• Work schedule: Monday"Friday, 8:00 am " 4:30 pm; No weekends or on-call

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an NP or PA in cardiology (inpatient and outpatient required)

  • RN experience does not qualify

  • Hospitalist experience may count if it includes significant cardiac care

  • No new PA or NP graduates accepted

• Must be comfortable independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients

  • Average 15 inpatients per day

  • 2 outpatients per hour, either solo or with a cardiologist

  • No on-the-job training available

• Experience independently performing cardiac stress tests preferred (training available)

• Expertise in EKG interpretation required

• Critical care experience (as NP or RN) preferred

• Active NJ RN & NP or PA licenses, plus CDS and NJ DEA

• Proof of prior malpractice insurance (including gap and, if claims-made, tail coverage)

• Willingness to complete hospital and insurance credentialing (hospital: 3 months, insurance: 6 months)

  • Start date dependent on completion of hospital credentialing and required application materials

• Must be up-to-date on flu vaccine and PPD (required by all affiliated hospitals)
