Family oriented community in south central Missouri is seeking an additional Anesthesiologist with cardiac experience join a thriving practice. They have three other MD's on staff plus six full-time CRNAs. Call is 1:4. Volume of 8500 surgical procedures annually.Presently they are providing Cardiothoracic and Interventional Cardiology, GS, GI, Neurosurgery, Ortho, ENT, CT, Ophthalmology, Urology, and Ob/Gyn. Their facilities include five ORs, one C-section suite and a prospering GI lab. This is a 114-bed Joint Commission accredited regional referral facility, servicing approximately 180,000 population in a nine-county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas. Over 100 active physicians are on the medical staff comprised of half primary care and half specialists. A number of services not normally found in rural areas are provided. For example, they have exceptionally strong programs in areas of interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, urology, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, orthopedic and general surgery. Additionally, they provide medical and radiation oncology services and have extensive outreach programs consisting of 23 physician-staffed health clinics plus very active home health, home care, and hospice programs.Community is the center of trade for a 50-mile radius. The area's educational opportunities are excellent with public and private schools. Also, the community college provides academic and vocational education programs which include a registered and practical nursing program plus a respiratory care school.
