Location: Greenville, SC
Position Type: Full-Time Locum to Perm Physician Hematology / Oncology

Seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum to perm opportunity at a free-standing cancer center in Greenville, SC. This role offers no call during the locum period, with a structured call schedule once transitioned to permanent.

• Free-standing cancer center

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• 65% benign hematology 35% malignant oncology

• 7 physicians and 6 APPs providing coverage

• Average 25 outpatient patients/day

• Average 20 inpatient patients/day (rounding/call)

• Practice includes both outpatient and inpatient oncology

• EMR: EPIC
  
  

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology REQUIRED

• Active South Carolina license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED

• BLS & DEA REQUIRED

• Clean background required for emergency temps

• Current NPDB required for submission
  
  

• Locum Period: No call

• Permanent Call Schedule: 1 week every 6 8 weeks

• Participation in tumor board

• Management of bone marrow transplants and blood bank

• Orders labs, imaging, and prescriptions

• Chemotherapy administered by oncology nursing staff

• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
