Location: Dayton, OH
Seeking a full-time academic faculty physician specializing in Infectious Disease.
This position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the surrounding region.
As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a variety of clinical settings.
In this role, you will be part of one of the most comprehensive healthcare systems in Southwest Ohio, and Wright State University s Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Job Duties:

Participating in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM s academic leadership.
Contributing to the division s clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions.
Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division s services, including a combination of contributions to the inpatient teaching service, Miami Valley Infection Specialists clinics; working with a large outpatient HIV population, other infectious diseases including but not limited to:
Antibiotic therapy supervision, Complicated wound care, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Chronic urinary tract infections, HIV, Lyme Disease
Regular outpatient clinical practice.
APP collaboration for both Inpatient and Outpatient clinical practice

Background Profile:

Board Certified / Board Eligible Infectious Disease
Ability to hold an Ohio State Medical License
US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status
MD, DO or MBBS degree
Completed Internal Medicine residency
Completed Infectious Disease fellowship
Federally-issued DEA License
