Locum Tenens Opportunity for General Medicine Providers Near Clarksville, FL Overview We are actively seeking General Medicine Providers for locum tenens positions to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments across the country. This is an excellent opportunity for providers with a background in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or any experience in general medicine. Position Details Role: General Medicine Provider - Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments Coverage: PRN basis, ongoing Specialties Accepted: Family Medicine Internal Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Anyone with a background in general medicine Coverage Options: Travel and perform exams at leased facility Schedule Veterans within your own practice Work Schedule Options: days (4 hours) Full days (8 hours) Exam Type: One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments Assessment Approach: Primarily interview-based Some physical assessment, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing Credentialing: Quick credentialing & onboarding DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified Requirements Use of Goniometer: Required Familiarity Required With: Musculoskeletal Diabetes Cardiovascular conditions Proficiency Required In: METs testing Evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions Laptop Requirement: Own personal laptop (NO MACs) Training and Reporting Training: Provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Submission Timeframe: Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report.
