The Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient care at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility, managing patient admissions, daily rounds, and emergency situations. The role involves a demanding schedule with shifts primarily from 7 AM to 7 PM and tele-hospitalist support in the evenings. The physician must be board certified or eligible, hold an active medical license, and be proficient in using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
