Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a PA or compact license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Positions available on multiple Med/Surg units, including floors 5, 6, and 7, and a Med/Surg/Tele unit
- Medical-surgical patient population with potential telemetry cases
- Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Typical duties include providing comprehensive care to Med/Surg patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Time off requests must be less than 1 week
- Tele experience may be needed due to unit assignments
- Travelers are not eligible if they have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past two years
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience
- No certifications may expire within 30 days of contract start
- Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- No previous permanent employment at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Cannot accept local travelers residing within a 50-mile radius
