Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Charge Nurse for a Med/Surg night shift position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities
- Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Charge Nurse role on Med/Surg 3N
- Night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Lead and coordinate Med/Surg unit activities during assigned shifts as Charge Nurse
- Prior Med/Surg charge experience is preferred
- Scrub or dress code not specified
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required, must be valid beyond first 30 days of assignment
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration
