Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Mall Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail or mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing armed patrol protocols as required by the location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited activity within the location.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations, including evacuations or medical incidents, by following established procedures.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
