Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details

• Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts (Cape Cod, 02601)
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care hospital, CCH Float Pool (potential to float between CCH & FH campuses)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• End Date: April 18, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend and holiday
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990 - $2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care facility (within the last 2 years)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass CCHC Pharmacology Exam and Basic Arrhythmia Exam prior to start date
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Preferred: Experience with cardiac, oncology, surgical, dialysis, orthopedic, and post-op patients

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and discharge planning in electronic health records
• Serve as a charge nurse and resource for patient care and staff orientation
• Demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing informatics and clinical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain ongoing professional development and stay current with nursing best practices and regulations
• Represent the hospital professionally within the community and uphold patient confidentiality
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned by supervisor
