Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm

• Call: 1:4

• Unit: General Adult Behavioral Health (30 beds per unit, split between two physicians)

• Facility Size: 63 beds total inpatient; outpatient side staffed by 5 physicians + 1 APP at full capacity

• EMR: EPIC

• Safety: 24/7 security guards; all staff trained in emergency codes

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care to adult inpatients

• Participate in call coverage for the adult inpatient unit

• Evaluate children only when on weekend crisis call; transfers handled for admissions

Requirements:

• Board-Certified Psychiatrist

• Active NY License at submission

• ACLS

• Availability Full-Time

• Clean background and self-query NPDB report pulled within the same month
