About the Clinician‘s Workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive pulmonary critical care coverage during day shifts with night call responsibilities, managing adult medical and surgical patients. Daily responsibilities include admissions, cross coverage, and pulmonary consultations with an average of 30 days per month coverage. The position requires proficiency in essential procedures including tracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, conscious sedation, and bronchoscopy. The clinician will manage patients across multiple locations with variable census ranging from 4-15 patients per day depending on facility assignment.
