Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with EPIC experience and a current NY license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Must work the assigned 13-week contract
- EPIC EMR system is used and prior experience is required
- Blocked scheduling is not offered
- Candidates must not reside within the following NY counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington
- No local candidates are allowed based on facility rules
- More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period may lead to contract termination; make-up shifts are required within 6 weeks
- Time off (RTO) must be requested with submission
- Competency testing may be required for consideration
- Travel pairs are not permitted
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience required
- Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
- EPIC EMR experience is mandatory for all candidates
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is provided by a licensed professional
- US Social Security Number is required for consideration; Canadian SINs are not accepted
