Responsibilities and Duties
- Administer anesthesia for GI procedures and other assigned cases
- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician (MDA), who will independently handle spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, upper/lower blocks, and fiber optic procedures
- Adhere strictly to role-specific duties as outlined by the facility
- Document all anesthesia-related activities using Epic EMR
- Maintain high standards of patient safety and care during all phases of anesthesia
Additional Information
- GI experience required
- Must hold an active North Carolina license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
