Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join the MICU for night shifts in a busy Texas hospital, requiring at least one year of recent ICU experience and a valid TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of a hospital
• Mixed adult patient population with a variety of critical care diagnoses
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Responsible for managing critically ill adult patients in a high-acuity setting
• Must be able to provide references and a complete nursing profile including licensure verifications and copies of certificates

Requirements

• Active TX or compact state RN license required
• At least one year of recent MICU or ICU experience required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required, with no expiration within the first 30 days of employment
• No gaps of 90 days or more in work history over the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
