- Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts

- Unit information: We have 5 IR rooms in our department that we cover as well as going to the OR for Vascular surgery. The services we cover are IR, Neuro IR, Neuro surgery Intervention and Vascular surgery. We are a level one trauma center so we do a fair amount of emergent cases and we also do Stroke Intervention.
- Weekly Gross: $3,000 (eligible for benefits)
- Active ARRT(R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of IR experience.
As a Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll play a pivotal role within a specialized medical team, supporting minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in vascular, neurological, and various interventional specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures such as angiography, stent placements, and embolizations.
- Operate fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to sterile field protocols throughout procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast media, monitor patient conditions, and document procedures precisely.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and uphold compliance with safety and radiation protection standards.
