Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Level One and Neuro IR experience along with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a procedural environment
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Call coverage is required as part of the schedule
- Neuro IR procedures and general IR care are part of the daily responsibilities
- Candidates must be comfortable and skilled working with all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Local travelers within 75 miles of the facility are not considered for this position
- A complete documentation packet, including required certifications, is necessary for consideration
Requirements
- Active KY or compact state RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience and 1 year of Neuro experience (or Neuro experience in a general ICU setting)
- Previous experience working in a Level One facility preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Experience in Neuro IR procedures necessary
- Must provide two supervisory references from the past three years of employment
