Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), which manages over 100,000 visits annually and stands as one of the busiest trauma centers in the country. As the region's only Level I trauma hospital, our ED is responsible for treating a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses. The focus for this role will be on the care of med/surg boarder patients within the ED, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 supported by assistive personnel. No prior ED experience is required for applicants.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the medical team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
