Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or relevant accrediting body.
• Current, active, and unencumbered Physical Therapist license for the state of Alabama or ability to obtain prior to the assignment start.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of clinical physical therapy experience preferred. (Preferred)
• Experience providing skilled physical therapy in home health settings preferred, including home visits and environment evaluation. (Preferred)
• Experience supervising or delegating to PTAs and home health aides preferred. (Preferred)
• Ability to perform patient evaluations, develop and update treatment plans, document patient progress, and communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions, electronic health records, email, and online training platforms.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance for home visits.

• Schedule: 5x8 days.
• Job Type: Travel, temporary help placement.
• Primary duties: Perform patient evaluations, provide skilled PT according to physician orders, supervise PTAs and home health aides as assigned, participate in plan-of-care development and patient education.
