RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work on 26-bed medical surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:6 or team nursing 1:9
• Schedule includes every other weekend requirement
• May float to other medical surgical units as needed
• Work with Alaris IV pumps and document using Meditech system
• Unit staffed with charge nurse, unit secretary on day shifts, and 2 PCTs
• Required to perform hourly purposeful rounds, use AIDET communication, and participate in mandatory bedside shift report
• Must have positive attitude, ability to work well with others, good time management skills, and effective communication abilities
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Dress code requires Royal, Galaxy, Pewter Gray, or White scrubs
• Work in unit with high employee engagement scores, low turnover, and strong administrative support for maintaining patient ratios
