Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Austin, TX
Join our team as a Locum OB Hospitalist and play a vital role in providing exceptional obstetric care in a dynamic hospital setting. This opportunity offers the flexibility of varied shifts including 12-hour night shifts Monday through Friday, along with weekend day and night shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Required Skills:
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Texas.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Proven expertise in inpatient obstetric care and labor management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Previous locum tenens or hospitalist experience.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Familiarity with high-risk obstetrics.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Obstetrics and Gynecology residency completed.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics.
- Prior locum or temporary hospitalist work preferred but not required.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to start on 31/12/2025.
- Willingness to work night and weekend shifts as specified.
- Certifications in BLS and NRP.
- Travel reimbursements, licensing, and certification support provided when applicable.
