American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center with at least 1 year of CT imaging experience and ARRT (CT) certification.
Responsibilities- Position is in an acute care Level II Trauma and Stroke Center setting
- Department performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans for hospital and clinic patients
- Utilizes Toshiba Aquilion One, Siemens Definition Edge, Vital Fx Workstation, Tera Recon, and SyngoVia CT equipment
- EMR system used is Epic/Radiant with PACS by McKesson
- Variable shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Typical schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week with potential for overnight and weekend call
- No floating to other departments
- Responsibilities include producing diagnostic CT images and performing related procedures and protocols
- Must be able to operate a range of CT equipment and perform post processing of images
- Expected to collaborate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Must be able to obtain patient information as needed to support personalized treatment and care
- Works with patients of all age groups
- Two week orientation is provided
- Must wear gray scrubs
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Holiday, night, and weekend coverage may be assigned as needed
- Returning clinicians must have an end date at least 6 months prior to being considered
- Not accepting local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility
- Minimum of 1 year recent CT Technologist experience
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- ARRT Board Certified in CT and BLS certification required
- Current CPR certification required
- Must be licensed in the State of North Dakota by the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (license required if applicable)
- Strong knowledge of CT scanners, cross-sectional anatomy and physiology, and post processing techniques for orthopedic, vascular, cardiac, and neuro cases
