Job Details:
• Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards
• Function according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice per professional and regulatory guidelines
• Work weekends and holidays as required
• On-call responsibilities included
• Must have 2+ years of OR experience
• Must be able to circulate in operating room
• Must be experienced with Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro procedures
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Monitor surgical procedures and patient health and safety during entire operation
• Assist surgical team during various specialty procedures
