Job Opportunity: Locum Tenens Physician - Emergency Medicine (Near Seaman, Ohio) Are you a skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine physician looking for an exciting locum tenens opportunity? A healthcare facility near Seaman, Ohio, is seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine provider for consistent shifts. Position Details: Job Title: Locum Tenens - Physician (Emergency Medicine) Location: Near Seaman, Ohio Start Date: November 1, 2024 Shifts: Night shifts (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM) and weekends are the main focus. Shift Schedule: Flexible, with the opportunity for 5+ shifts per month. Facility Type: Free-standing Emergency Department with physician coverage 24/7 and mid-level support from 12 PM to 12 AM. Annual Volume: Approximately 30,000 visits per year. Beds in the ED: 21 EMR System: EPIC Certification Requirements: Board Certification (ABMS/AOA) in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine is required. Must also be certified in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS. Key Responsibilities: Provide emergency care to patients, including trauma and critical care management. Handle codes in the Emergency Department. Collaborate with mid-level providers and hospitalist teams for patient transfers and admissions. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care. Requirements: Ohio State Medical License (IMLC not accepted). COVID Vaccination is mandatory. Board Certification: ABMS or AOA, with at least 2+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine or related fields. NRP Certification required. Must be able to work a consistent schedule of 5+ shifts per month, including weekends and nights. Additional Information: Travel arrangements will be provided by the facility.
