Board Certified Pathologist
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Rate: $110-150/hr
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Certified Pathologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in our diagnostic services department, providing accurate and timely pathological evaluations to support patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Responsibilities:
- Perform gross and microscopic examinations of surgical and cytology specimens.
- Interpret pathological findings and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Communicate diagnostic findings effectively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Provide consultation and support to clinicians regarding appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new diagnostic techniques and protocols.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology.
- Valid state medical license (any state license accepted).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as a Pathologist.
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in interpreting pathological findings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
