Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inpatient neurosurgery consults and follow-ups (average 4 per day; volume varies).
- Serve as first assist in the operating room, primarily responsible for assisting with procedures and performing wound closure.
- Participate in outpatient clinic for pre- and post-operative patient management.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply the practice provides comprehensive training and mentorship.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills required.
- Interest in neurosurgery or surgical specialties preferred.
