We have an urgent need for a provider to join our dynamic team near WOODBURY, CT, starting as soon as credentialed. This position offers a fulfilling experience covering both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic settings.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3 clinic days (M-F) 8:00-4:30, occasional weekends, and night call (infrequent)
- Setting:
- Inpatient consults
- Outpatient Clinic
- Reason for Coverage: Leave of absence
- Call Schedule:
- Weekends: 2-3 per year
- Nights: 1:10
- Patient Demographic: Adults/Geriatric
- Case Distribution: 80% Hematology, 20% Oncology (no internal medicine)
- Physicians in Practice: 10
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): 8
- Patient Volume:
- Hospital: 10 patients per day
- Outpatient: 15 patients per day
- Trauma Level: Level I
- EMR: Epic
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified: Required
- CT License: Required
- Local Candidates: Highly Preferred
- Certification Requirements: Board Certified
- State License Requirements: Connecticut
