About the Opportunity: Start: ASAP Schedule: Part or full-time Assignment Length: Ongoing EMR: EPIC Responsibilities: The Rheumatologist will: Complete history and physical data on patients, performs complete physical exams, and interprets and integrates data to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan Orderand interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient needs Prescribeappropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities Collaborate,educate, and superviseAdvance Practice Providers (APPs) in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients Providemedical care in high-functional setting. Responsible for all patient interactions within area of service Functionindependently to complete history and physical data on patients Performphysical exams Coordinateand manageassigned panel of patient care across assigned level of service, such as emergency, primary, inpatient, specialty, clinic, dental, mental health, substance abuse, home care, and all other covered services Perform other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Connecticut Board Certified in Internal Medicine Board Eligible / Certified in Rheumatology Desired Skills: Ultrasound training Your privacy is important to us.
